Joe Webb spent the last two years as the starting quarterback at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), amassing 2,299 yards and 21 touchdowns through the air and 1,619 yards and 11 TDs on the ground in 2009. But Webb will attempt to make it in the NFL as a wide receiver.

An unexpected NFL hopeful showed up at Washington State’s practice bubble on March 11 for the school’s pro day workout. Matt Lamb, an All-America discus thrower who didn’t play football for the Cougars, put together a solid gridiron workout nonetheless.

Idaho’s Iupati will be a busy man
The headliner at Idaho’s pro day, which was held March 11 outdoors on FieldTurf on a wet field with a slope, was G/T Mike Iupati (6-foot-5 1/2, 324 pounds). Though he did not work out at the event (he chose to keep all of his NFL Scouting Combine numbers), that does not mean he won’t be running plenty of drills over the next month. He already has nine scheduled visits with teams, and worked out with the Browns on Monday.
