Redskins | Interest in Chargers WR Jackson unclear

Eric Edholm, from ProFootballWeekly.com, reports the Washington Redskins are one of the teams rumored to be interested in Chargers WR Vincent Jackson. But how much interest the Redskins have now that Jackson has been suspended three games for violating the NFL's personal-conduct policy is unclear. Our View: Mike Shanahan was well aware of Jackson when he was the coach of the Denver Broncos. Jackson was a high school star in Colorado Springs, and then went on to have a standout career in Greeley at the University of Northern Colorado. He was reportedly the next on the Broncos draft board after they selected defensive back Darrent Williams in the 2005 NFL Draft, but the Chargers quickly scooped him up before the Broncos could get another shot at the talented wideout. Now, Shanahan has a chance to add him to his new team - but Jackson's suspension may make the Redskins hesitant to pull the trigger on any trade.
